Many lenders withdrew buy-to-let mortgage deals early in the pandemic but, according to recent data, product choice has now risen to total of 2,298 products currently available1.
Landlords who have seen reduced rental income, however, may still struggle to remortgage or purchase new properties, as a reduction in income from just one or two properties can impact the performance of the entire portfolio.
